IONIA, Smyrna, in alliance with Tralles. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ 28mm (11.52 g). Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / CMVPNA/IΩΝ ΟΜΟΝ/ΟΙ/Α ΤΡΑΛΙΑ/ΝΩΝ, ΕΠ ΠΩΛΛI/ANOV in exergue, Amazon Smyrna standing right, holding bipennis over shoulder, clasping hands with Tyche of Tralles who holds a sceptre. Klose 5 (V2/R5); Franke-Nolle 2251 (same dies); SNG Copenhagen 1431 (same dies); SNG von Aulock 2249 (same dies). VF, brown surfaces, some roughness and light encrustations.
